After first deciding to try yoga in 2008 as a way to cross train for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Josh found out after just one class that yoga was much more than exercise or stretching. He immediately started practicing regularly and has never looked back...
Josh strives to bring challenge and discipline to students in a fun and light-hearted way, always searching for the perfect balance of work and play.
Josh has completed Baron Baptiste's Level 1 Teacher Training in 2012 and has also completed SHAKTI's Teacher Mentorship Program, working closely with Lisa Black and Gina Skene and many other amazing SHAKTI teachers.
Rachel has taught consciousness meditation to a small group since 2008 and this passion for stillness and inner peace led her to become a yoga teacher. Rachel believes that the way to heal is to go within oneself and yoga and meditation are powerful vehicles for us to connect to our greatest potential. In Rachel’s classes you will have the opportunity to grow physically as well as emotionally and spiritually. She has a vision to help people tap into their highest awareness.
Rachel has practiced various styles of yoga since 1999, however in 2014 she came to yoga for a different reason. Yoga was a calling for her to physically heal from an injury and to emotionally heal in a time of extreme challenge. From that point forward yoga took a new direction, it became a way of life. She received her 200-hour Teacher Training certification in December 2015 through Shakti Vinyasa Yoga and in April 2016 she also completed their Teacher Mentorship Program.
Rachel is also a jewelry designer, a mother and she is originally for the Seattle area.

Cobey studied yoga in NYC with Lisa and Charles Matkin, disciples of ISHTA Yoga founder Alan Finger. He was a founding instructor at Stepping Stones Yoga in New York, and also taught at Devotion Yoga and Bread & Yoga in Manhattan. Through his years as an instructor he has developed a genuine, skilled, and powerful approach to teaching that provides his students with the ability to be creative and dynamic on their mats. He is a strong believer in the importance of ujjayi, and believes that the greatest indicator of the quality of one's asana practice is the quality of one's breath.
Cobey is an actor and has worked on Broadway and on the television shows Law & Order, Grimm and Six Degrees. He is also a voiceover artist and can currently be heard on commercials for Redhook Brewery, Washington Lottery and AAA.
To deepen his understanding of the history and philosophy of Yoga, he took teacher training at Be Luminous Yoga. While his intention of taking the training was not to teach, somewhere along the way he became inspired to teach. Teaching Yoga is another evolution in his spiritual growth. Craig brings his life experience, humor, playfulness, LOVE of Yoga and music to each class!
When Craig is not in a yoga studio he is doing some sort of construction project, walking his dog, listening to and playing blues, jazz, and kirtan music, enjoying the salt air of Puget Sound on Camano Island, and spending time with friends and family. He especially enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife of 23 years, Nan. Craig looks forward to seeing you on the mat!
