I believe stillness and gentle movements with love to be an art form to reclaim your space from mental chatter, heal traumas, detoxify stress, and find wellness. Our journey through life often imprints patterns within the body and mind that can be limiting and leave us reacting to the present moment based on our past experiences. By observing who we are we can become aware of these patterns and begin to shed the layers of our experiences. I believe the practice of yoga to be a powerful ally for reconnection to our center. With intention (and without judgment), linking breath, movement, sensation, and the mind to the present moment. Being with yourself just as you are, from a place of wholeness.
It is my passion to blend Eastern philosophies of yoga and wellness with Western anatomy and the neurobiology of stress within the physical body. This deep curiosity for holistic wellness led me to complete my 200-hour yoga teacher certification in 2015 through Passion Yoga School in Costa Rica. Inspired by the depth of clinical research, I have continued to expand my knowledge and am certified in yin yoga through Soma Yin, and restorative yoga, through Synergy School. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University and created my private practice, Bhramari Seattle, PLLC.

Restorative Yin is yoga at its coolest, quietest, and stillest moments. This gentler, deeply nurturing style of Yin Yoga is a time for deep relaxation and healing. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props as needed to support you in relaxing into each posture with as little effort as possible. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes allowing joints and fascia to release while restoring balance to your mind, body, and spirit. This class will complement your Vinyasa practice and will open and release areas in need of more flexibility.
Due to the restorative nature of this class, late arrivals will not be granted studio access. Early arrival is strongly encouraged. Please allow extra time for parking and registration to ensure you arrive on time. Thank you.
