This comprehensive, introductory 8-class series is designed for beginners or students new to SHAKTI and Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. Learn the basic alignment and form of the 53 postures that compose the 90 minute Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga practice. Each class builds on the previous one, preparing students to understand the progression of the 11 part series within the Baptiste flow.
Demonstration, discussion, personal hands-on adjustments, and guided practice by a Senior Instructor and assistants will provide you with a solid foundation. The studio is heated to a comfortable 82-86 degrees. Preregistration is encouraged.
Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga
Founded by Baron Baptiste, this accessible, yet challenging and flowing form of yoga will sculpt, tone, and strengthen the muscles of your body and mind. Focusing on the basics of breath and postural alignment, this class will lead students through sequences that help develop flexibility, core stability, and strength, while maintaining a playful mindset.

, this powerful style combines many elements of the Vinyasa Yoga tradition while incorporating philosophy, postures, and sequencing. Classes are based on the central theme of “wave-like” fluidity and multi-directional sequencing using a circular sun saluation or “mandala namaskara.”
Classes are a dynamic, rhythmic and musical practice using an innovative approach to Vinyasa yoga created by Shiva Rea. Each wave of a Prana Flow class is an invitation to tap into the source of your creative and fluid power.
Yin is yoga at its coolest, deepest, quietest, stillest moments. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props needed to create as little effort while holding poses. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes allowing joints and fascia to release. This class will complement your Vinyasa practice and will open and release areas in need of more flexibility.
Rejuvenation & Release
The rejuvenating experience that arm-balancing and inversions offer is balanced by long and deep stretching to create a powerful release in your body and your psyche. This class is appropriate for all levels.
